Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains what information Invoicend collects, why, and what you can do about it. Invoicend is a product of Scalasprint Solutions, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248001, India, which is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and sign-in codes (stored only as a scrambled hash and cleared automatically).
- Business details you enter: business name, address, tax registration number (GSTIN or EIN), phone, email, logo, UPI ID, bank or payment details, payment links.
- Your documents and lists: invoices, quotations and estimates, clients (names and contact details you enter), items, taxes, discounts and charges.
- Usage records: when an invoice link is opened (date and time only), when emails are sent, and counts of AI drafts used. To limit abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
- Technical logs: error messages and basic request logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it
- To provide the Service: show and save your documents, send invoices and sign-in codes by email, and show invoices to the clients you share them with.
- To draft invoices with AI when you ask us to.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To bill you for a paid plan, if you choose one.
- To tell you about important changes to the Service. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run Invoicend, and only what they need:
- Hosting and email: Hostinger (servers, database and the mailbox that sends our emails).
- AI drafting: Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on which we use at the time. When you use AI drafting, the text or image you submit and the names of your saved clients, items and taxes are sent to produce the draft. Under these providers’ API terms this data is not used to train their models.
- Payments: Razorpay (India) or Stripe (other countries) process subscription payments; we do not see or store your full card details.
- Your clients: anyone you send an invoice link to can see that invoice.
- Authorities: when required by law.
Some of these providers process data outside India. We choose providers with appropriate security safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your business, documents, clients, items and settings straight away; copies in our hosting backups are removed as those backups are replaced in the normal backup cycle. Records we must keep by law (for example our own billing records) are kept for the period the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Export: download all your data from Settings at any time.
- Correct: edit your business details, clients and documents in the app.
- Delete: delete your account from Settings.
- You can also contact us to access, correct or delete your data, or to raise a concern. We respond within 30 days. If you are in India, these requests fall under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; if you are elsewhere, your local law may give you further rights.
Your clients’ data
When you add a client’s details to an invoice, you decide what to enter and why; we process those details on your behalf to provide the Service. Please only add information you are entitled to use for invoicing.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Sign-in uses one-time codes, so there are no passwords to leak. API keys we store are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may store an unsaved invoice draft locally on your device until you save it.
Children
Invoicend is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we will tell you by email or in the app.
